A newborn complaining of noisy breathing not relieved by saline drops. He persisted to have that breathing after nasopharyngeal suctioning. It was not fitting into description of laryngomalacia. Next morning the noise stopped. Parents said they switched off the ac and that helped. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MSL child has tachypnea but is otherwise stable. He has been having respiratory rates in range of 58-68 since 44 hours. NICU ppl said not to worry much. Consultant incharge gave injection ranctac via NG tube. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A child came with irritability without an explanation. He had already been given pain releivers. I was confused as what to do. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
